Ways to Give

Annual Giving: The Fund for Denver Academy

WHAT IT IS
Support for the school’s current-year operating expenses. Annual gifts make up the difference between what tuition covers and the actual costs of operating the school. Such gifts are usually unrestricted, allowing the school to direct the funds to the greatest need.

TIME FRAME
July 1 to June 30 each school year.
It’s similar to a checking account that helps the school pay its daily budgeted expenses.

WHAT IT PROVIDES
Teacher salaries and benefits, classroom resources and teaching tools, educational technology and equipment, and continuing education for faculty.

Building on Excellence Campaign

WHAT IT IS
2022 marks Denver Academy's 50th anniversary. The Building on Excellence Campaign has helped us honor this milestone by investing in new and improved facilities and DA’s endowment fund.

WE'RE ALMOST THERE!
After six years of the Building on Excellence Campaign and having raised almost $25MM dollars, we are completing our last building project.

Construction of our Performing Arts Center has started. We are only $500,000 from our goal! Please join other generous parents, grandparents, and friends to complete this important project.

Planned Giving: The DA Legacy Society

WHAT IT IS
When the mission of Denver Academy aligns with a donor’s values and the donor believes that these values and DA should be preserved for the future. It is a gift of cash, equity or property which a donor decides to give at some future date, either a number of years from now or at death. The most common planned gift is a bequest in a will or living trust.

TIME FRAME
Planned gifts can be created any time – no matter the age of the donor.

WHAT IT PROVIDES
A lasting legacy and the promise of a strong future for Denver Academy.
