Elementary After School Activities

ESPm (Elementary Sports Program)
A long-standing favorite of parents and students alike, ESPm provides students an opportunity to learn about sports and build fundamental skills through instructional and competitive activities. We emphasize the importance of basic skills, rules, strategies, respect and responsibility, positive peer interaction, teamwork, sportsmanship, character building, and fun. Instruction is offered in both team and individual sports as well as in recreational activities. ESPm offers various units, allowing students to pick and choose activities of interest. Each unit runs for approximately three weeks, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

ESPm Mini-Units
Enrichment Activities are one-week units as part of the ESPm program and provide children with a wide variety of interesting, challenging, and fun activities that engage diverse learners. The enrichment activities not only stimulate both the body and the mind, but also offer a relevant life skill learning opportunity. Social interaction and development of appropriate social skills are emphasized. These units run for three days each month, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday after school until 5:30 p.m. Each unit is appropriate for boys and girls.

Fee Structure
The fee for each ESPM unit is $150.00 and each Enrichment unit is $50.00, no matter how many days of the unit your participant is in attendance. Many of the units will have limited space available, so the unit fee will be required to be paid upon submission of the Registration Form, available for download on this page. Please email the completed form to Coach Monica Johnson or drop it off at the front desk in the Administration Building.

Homework Club

The Elementary Homework Club provides a safe, structured, and educational atmosphere for students to complete their homework, improve study skills and strategies, and participate in various enrichment activities. Families that previously benefitted from our After Care program should enjoy Homework Club just as much. Elementary Homework Club is available Monday through Friday on days school is in session, from 3:00-5:30 p.m. Students should come prepared to spend a portion of their time outdoors. The fee for Homework Club is $15 per day of attendance.

Download the Homework Club 2018-19 Information & Registration document on this page for more information and the registration form. Please email your completed registration form to one week before the desired date of attendance to ensure an available spot. Questions? Contact Jacob Deryck.
