Denver Academy provides two after-school programs for students in Elementary and 6th-grade that are structured and safe; Elementary Sports Program (ESPm) (Grades 1-5) and Homework Club (Grades 1-6). Fees for these programs are not included in tuition.
ESPm (Grades 1-5)
ESPm provides students an opportunity to learn about sports and build fundamental skills through instructional and competitive activities. We emphasize the importance of basic skills, rules, strategies, respect and responsibility, positive peer interaction, teamwork, sportsmanship, character building, and fun. Instruction is offered in both team and individual sports as well as in recreational activities.
The EPSm Winter offerings will run Nov. 29, 2021, through Mar. 17, 2022, on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Activities will include Legos, games, and puzzles. The cost is $22 for each drop-in session. Download the ESPm Winter Offerings Flyer here.
The ESPm Spring Unit will begin after Spring Break and run March 29 through May 27, 2022, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Activities will include ultimate sports, racquet and paddle sports, soccer and speed ball, invasion games/flag tag, basketball, rounders, and golf. The Elementary Homework Club provides a safe, structured, and educational atmosphere for students to complete their homework, improve study skills and strategies, and participate in various enrichment activities. Elementary Homework Club is available Monday through Friday on days school is in session, from 3:-5:30 p.m. Students should come prepared to spend a portion of their time outdoors. The fee for Homework Club is $22 per day of attendance.

As safety is our first priority, all students who wish to participate in ESPM, Enrichment Units, and/or Elementary Homework Club, must have completed all health and emergency information forms via the myDA login.
