Denver Academy provides two after school programs for students in Elementary and 6th-grade that are structured and safe; Elementary Sports Program (ESPm) and Homework Club. Fees for these programs are not included in tuition.
ESPm provides students an opportunity to learn about sports and build fundamental skills through instructional and competitive activities. We emphasize the importance of basic skills, rules, strategies, respect and responsibility, positive peer interaction, teamwork, sportsmanship, character building, and fun. Instruction is offered in both team and individual sports as well as in recreational activities. ESPm offers various units, allowing students to pick and choose activities of interest. Each unit runs for approximately three weeks on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays after school from 3 to 5 p.m. The fees for each unit are based on the activity and are published on the online registration form. The unit fee is required to be paid upon online registration. Questions? Contact Monica Johnson.
The Elementary Homework Club provides a safe, structured, and educational atmosphere for students to complete their homework, improve study skills and strategies, and participate in various enrichment activities. Elementary Homework Club is available Monday through Friday on days school is in session, from 3:-5:30 p.m. Students should come prepared to spend a portion of their time outdoors. The fee for Homework Club is $15 per day of attendance. Download the Homework Club 2019-20 Information & Registration document on this page for more information and the registration form. Please email your completed registration form to email@example.com one week before the desired date of attendance to ensure an available spot. Questions? Contact Jacob Theis.
As safety is our first priority, all students who wish to participate in ESPM, Enrichment Units, and/or Elementary Homework Club, must have completed all health and emergency information forms via the myDA login.
