  • High School Humanities Teacher

    Requirements: Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and be qualified to teach high school humanities (language arts and/or social studies).

    Description: The Denver Academy teacher is responsible for executing Denver Academy’s mission of inspiring and empowering diverse learners through student-centered, differentiated, and transformative education. This includes oversight and responsibility for students, program, and day-to-day operations in the classroom. The teacher is also responsible for communicating with parents and acting as a liaison with other division classrooms and the rest of the DA community.

  • High School Mathematics Teacher

    Requirements: Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and be qualified to teach all levels of high school mathematics.

  • High School Senior Seminar Teacher

    Requirements: Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and be qualified to teach high school. A background in language arts, English, and writing pedagogy preferred. Candidate should also present an open mindset to current and changing education and transition curriculum.

    Description: The Denver Academy teacher is responsible for executing Denver Academy’s mission of inspiring and empowering diverse learners through student-centered, differentiated and transformative education. This includes oversight and responsibility for students, program, and day-to-day operations in the classroom. The teacher is also responsible for communicating with parents, acting as liaison with other division classrooms and the rest of the DA community.

    This position will report to the Dean of 12th Grade and is an active member of the Senior Team. In addition, this position will collaborate closely with members of the College & Transition Counseling Program.
