  • Literacy Specialist

    Denver Academy in Denver, Colorado seeks a Literacy Specialist for the 2021-2022 school year.

    Salary:
    Starting salary for a Part-Time Literacy Specialist is $25,000. Starting salary for a Full-Time Literacy Specialist is $50,000. Salary will be higher with experience and/or additional qualifications.

    Position Description: The Denver Academy Literacy Specialist is responsible for executing Denver Academy’s mission of inspiring and empowering diverse learners through student-centered, differentiated, and transformative education. This includes oversight and responsibility for students, program and day-to-day operations of delivering the Orton-Gillingham approach to teaching reading. The literacy specialist is also responsible for communicating with parents and acting as a liaison with other division classrooms and the rest of the DA community.
