Aliya and Rehan Hasan have a great desire, like all parents, to see their children succeed and pursue whatever interests them. After searching for the right school for their two students, they found Denver Academy. 

“We felt that DA was the only place where the teachers would celebrate our kids’ strengths, rather than focus incessantly on their weaknesses,” said the Hasan’s. “We were tired of stressful parent-teacher conferences where we felt like there were a lot of problems laid out, but no solutions.” 

Their children, Farah (DA 9th-grader) and Emre (DA 7th-grader) have found great success as they have been taught the way they learn best. Because of the difference DA has made in their student’s lives, the Hasan’s wish more kids could have access to an education like DA. 

“Educating a child is costly, especially the kind of education that DA gives,” they commented. “We know that tuition doesn’t cover all of that cost; we are in a position to give more, we do. We are responsible for helping out community first and foremost. DA is our community.”
