Leah Bibby: DA Class of 2001, School Board Member
In November 2025, DA Alumna Leah Bibby (Class of 2001) won a seat on the Wall Township School Board in New Jersey. Currently a homemaker, Leah is also treasurer for the North Wall Little League. Recently, Leah told us about her experiences as a DA student.
How do you feel Denver Academy helped get you to where you are now?
DA created an environment where I could focus and grow with support from so many avenues and without pressure.
What do you love about what you are currently doing?
I love trying to make my town and the world a better place, whether that's with just a smile or volunteering my time and knowledge.
What is the biggest thing you learned while attending Denver Academy?
Self-discipline.
Who were your favorite teachers?
This is hard. Mark Twarogowski, Aimee Twarogowski, Mark Wood, Perry Butler, and so many more.
What was your favorite thing about Denver Academy?
The small classes, caring teachers, and variety of options outside of academics.
