After years of dreaming and planning, DA’s new performing arts center is nearing its completion!
The center will boast a grand theater with comfortable seating in both the orchestra and mezzanine with a total seating capacity of 250 guests. It also will have a black box theater/classroom for intimate performances and classes. There will be a choral classroom, an instrumental classroom, and a set design shop, all making it possible to expand our performing arts programs at DA. Click here to learn more.
We are excited to announce the official name for the newest building on our campus: DA’s Louise McCabe Performing Arts Center.
Louise McCabe began her career at Denver Academy in 1977 as a teacher's aide. By the time she retired in 2000, she was the Head of the Lower School. Within those years, she was an amazing teacher, mentor, and human being at Denver Academy. The lead donors to our Performing Arts Center chose to honor Louise for the incredible impact she had as an educator for their child. Thank you to all of our donors and to Louise McCabe for being such an inspiration!
