In February, DA's Middle School hosted the 27th-anniversary edition of its Special Studies Extravaganza. Each afternoon for three days, students took a break from their regular school days and classes and instead participated in a multiple-intelligence-based course taught by their middle school teachers. Special studies classes included art, card games, history, and bird watching, to name a few.
