Aleeza Lampert '14: Clinical Mental Health Counselor
DA Alumna Aleeza Lampert, class of 2014, is currently pursuing dual licensure in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in Colorado and New York with additional licensure in Play Therapy. She currently lives in Rochester, NY and just graduated in December with her master's degree from the University of Northern Colorado. She has just started working with a mental health practice in Denver, working virtually from New York.
Aleeza feels that Denver Academy helped her find her strengths and passions while encouraging her to further reinforce inborn talents. "Denver Academy helped me boost my self-confidence through theater and art, as well as encourage confidence in myself as an academic. Denver Academy provided an environment with peers who I befriended and some I still connect with today and who inspired me to go into my line of work," said Aleeza.
"The most important thing I learned while being at DA was empathy and self-compassion. Something I still have to remind myself of," said Ms. Lampert. "Everyone deserves empathy, compassion, and a dose of kindness."
