Michael and his wife Susan found Denver Academy for their sons Dylan and Ryan in 1985. It was just the student focused individualized education they were looking for.

 

Both Ryan and Dylan were changed by their time at DA. They experienced mentorships with teachers and coaches, attention to how they learned best, and the opportunity to pursue their passions.

 

Dylan became a star DA athlete on the basketball court and the baseball field, advancing to play college baseball at Creighton University. After graduation, he returned to Denver to pursue business opportunities. Ryan graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca and has three businesses: Sauce on the Blue in Silverthorne, Sauce on the Creek in Avon and Base Camp Wine and Liquor in Frisco.

 

Dylan has been active in the Alumni Association and is a DA trustee. He serves on the Building on Excellence Campaign Cabinet where he has been a passionate advocate for a new Athletic Center. The Geller Family are major donors to the BOE Campaign, hoping that their contributions will secure the future of Denver Academy.
