Middle School Holds Respect Symposium

On Wednesday, September 27, middle school students met for the annual Respect Symposium. Students heard from a variety of speakers on different topics related to respect. The speakers and topics included:
 
Matt Dastin: Respect your body with hygiene tips
Mark Wood: The inappropriate and illegal usage of technology
Philippe Ernewein: How the brain takes in information and processes it
Lori Hull: What does it mean to be a member of the DA community?
Lisa Conte: Bullying vs. Normal Conflict
Mark Twarogowski: Respectful and disrespectful language in children’s books
Joe and Aaron Senne: Respecting teamwork and your part as a member of a team
