Program Visitation Days provide an overview of the curriculum and framework of Denver Academy. The two-hour visit includes classroom visits and a campus tour, along with an informational session led by the Denver Academy Program Team. This tour is designed for professionals, community members, and educational partners. Prospective parents & families interested in learning more about Denver Academy are encouraged to contact the Admissions Office and attend an open house.

The Seven Core Struggles of Adoption All DA parents, as well as DA friends and family, are welcome to attend this special presentation by Dr. Chaitra Wirta-Leiker on Thursday, October 10. The owner of Beyond Words Psychological Services, Dr. Wirta-Leiker was adopted from India as an infant and will discuss her work with youth and families and expertise surrounding adoption and bullying. Denver Academy's GSA groups are registered nationally with GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network). Denver Academy's GSA follows GLSEN's mission to create a safe and affirming school community for all, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
This monthly group meeting is provided to DA families as an opportunity for support and education for parents and caregivers of adopted kids. The group meets monthly every third Wednesday and is hosted by DA Parent Alumni Liz Clark, LPC.
Join us on Wednesday, Oct. 16 from 8:15 a.m.-9:45 a.m. in the DAPA house to begin planning for the upcoming April Gala. The 2020 Gala will take place on April 18, 2020, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Downtown Denver.

DAPA will be hosting the upcoming Ponies Fall Festival on October 17 from 2:15- 3 p.m. Activities will include a mummy wrap, ring toss around the pumpkin and other fun games along with a photo booth and popcorn bar.
