Building on Excellence Campaign

As we approach Denver Academy’s 50th Anniversary in 2022, we have embarked on one of the most impactful projects in the history of our school. After years of planning and research, Denver Academy’s Board of Directors approved a two-phased construction project as well as a focused effort to grow our endowment fund.

With the opening of the James E. Loan Athletic Center and renovation of the Elementary and 6th Grade Building, Phase One is now complete.  We are grateful for the ongoing support of our community and with that, we are excited to move into Phase Two.

It’s an extraordinary time at Denver Academy. Over the past 47 years, DA has developed a student-centered, transformative model that empowers diverse learners to excel.

By making a donation to the 50th Anniversary Building on Excellence Campaign, you will set the trajectory for Denver Academy. With new facilities and a larger Endowment Fund, you are investing in the success of DA and your community at large.

This past May, the student-driven Penny Project came to a close after nearly a year of hard work and commitment to collecting pennies. The project focused on teaching students about philanthropy and community, and the Penny Project was incorporated to classroom lessons across all divisions. Our students raised over 300,000 pennies for this initiative, totaling almost $4,000 to be contributed to the 50th Anniversary Building on Excellence Campaign.
