DA Spelling Bee Winners Announced

In mid-December, DA students in elementary and middle school competed during our grade-level Scripps National Spelling Bees. Congrats to Coleman R. (fourth grade), Addis J. (fifth grade), Henry McKinney (sixth grade), Caitlinn K. (seventh grade), and Declan H. (eighth grade). These students will move on to compete for DA champion status on Friday, Feb. 3 at DA. The winner of that competition will compete in an online written portion of the Colorado State Spelling Bee. The top 20-30 students in the state will advance to the in-person portion held at DU’s Sturm Hall on March 11.
