Are You a Member of DAPA?
If you're a parent of a DA student, the answer is YES!!
Get to know your fellow DA parents and have some FUN by getting involved with DAPA (Denver Academy Parent Association). The DAPA mission is to support and enhance the experience of students, parents, teachers, and staff.
Meetings are virtual now that the weather is cooler and are held on the second Thursday each month at 8:30 am. To attend the next meeting, scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 10, email Amanda Plank for the Google Meet link.
There are many ways to get involved in DAPA and we are always in need of more parent voices and ideas. Please join us for the next meeting to share yours!

- Provided a physically distanced, individually packed lunch for all employees to welcome them back to school
- Delivered and organized school supplies ordered by DA families
- Called all new parents and welcomed them to DA. This effort is ongoing!

- Elementary and 6th-grade students celebrated with popsicles

- Every student received a packaged Halloween treat
- Every employee received a $20 Amazon gift card
- Every employee received a handwritten thank you note and DA logo socks
- Every DA student was mailed special DA logo wear (Parents - Please help us keep this a surprise! If you haven't yet received this, check your mailbox for this special DA gear coming soon.)
- A Virtual New Parent Orientation was held
