Abby Bridgewater '16, Marketing Major at Lynn University

It’s an exciting year for alumni, Abby Bridgewater ‘16 as she begins her last semester before graduating this May. Abby is currently attending Lynn University where she is studying marketing and completing an internship with Wyndham hotels. 

While attending DA, Abby says she learned the importance of being true to who she is and how to advocate for herself. Learning this has helped her learn to the best of her ability and see success in her life. 

One of Abby’s favorite teachers, Jenni Walker said,” Abby took life head-on and is a survivor.  She is a strong (and sometimes feisty!), independent young woman and was never afraid to speak her mind.  She is a great communicator and I loved our chats. I have all kinds of fun memories from having her in my homeroom and, later, in my Anatomy & Physiology class. I miss her!”

Originally, Abby started Lynn University studying political science. However, she decided to switch to marketing so she had more opportunities to possibly live abroad and she could work in many different fields. 

“Attending Lynn University has provided me with so many opportunities. During my sophomore year, I was able to study abroad in London,” said Abby. “My favorite thing about studying abroad is experiencing a different culture first hand. I also made some lifelong friends.” 

We are so proud of Abby and wish her the best of luck as she completes her last semester of college. Go, Mustang!
