Parent/Student interactive tech workshop: Integrating assistive technology into learning

Attendees will learn more about tools like Learning Ally, Snap & Read, Grammarly and more.

This free, interactive workshop, designed just for the DA families in grades 6-12, will cover:
  • What technology tools are available to you and your student
  • How to access those tools
  • When to use the tools (which programs help with which tasks)
  • What questions to ask about the tools and who to ask
The workshop will be available in two sessions, morning for 6-8 grade families from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., and afternoon for high school families from 12:15 to 3:15 p.m. Lunch will be included for both sessions at 11:30 a.m. and will feature guest speaker Joel Englander '03 of Google.

Parents and students will participate in the workshop together, working through various sessions individually, then reconvening to discuss and debrief. If you have students in multiple divisions, you may sign up for one or both sessions. Devices will be provided. Hosted by the DA Student and Parent Technology Committees. Space is very limited, so RSVP today
