College Application Workshop

For many high school students, the college search and application process can be pretty overwhelming. Reduce your anxiety by attending a three-day workshop with two experts in the college counseling field. This course is offered as part of the 2017 DA Summer Program.

Course Name: Navigating the College Search & Application Process

Course Dates: August 1st-3rd from 8 am-3 pm

Instructors: Dr. Jill Corbin & Ms. Carey Eskesen

Participants: Rising juniors and seniors (must have completed sophomore or junior year)

Cost: $315 per student

Topics covered include: how to embark on the college search, develop a better understanding of the college application and additional requirements, create a Common Application account, begin a college application, identify a college essay topic and better understand the significance of the college visit.
