All-School Winter Service Project: Colorado Coalition for the Homeless

DA is excited to be working with Colorado Coalition for the Homeless for our all-school winter service project. The goal is to make our community's contributions go farther and allow students to have a hands-on experience. We will be assembling "Winter Care Kits" and making blankets for the homeless community of Denver. 

To make this possible, each division has been asked to bring in certain items as follows: 

• Elementary: Adult backpacks (new or gently used) and gallon Ziploc bags
• 6th Grade: Clothing for warmth- hats, gloves, cotton socks (adult-sized) and hand warmers
• Middle School: Hygiene items- deodorant, toothbrushes, toothpaste, chapstick 
• 9th Grade: Hygiene items- travel tissues, lotion, body wash, shampoo, conditioner
• 10th Grade: Clothing for warmth- hats, gloves, cotton socks (adult-sized) and hand warmers
• 11th Grade: Adult backpacks (new or gently used) 
• 12th Grade: Non-perishable snack bars/proteins bars and water bottles 

Please have your student bring the items to their homeroom teacher by Monday, December 9.
