"What Now?" Night is meant to calm concerns and ease any stress seniors may have by teaching them what support is available beyond high school. Seniors are required to attend, and parent attendance is highly encouraged.
Ms. Lisa McGill, director for the Office of Disability Resources & Services at the University of Colorado Denver, will share the process (and benefits) of applying for accommodations. The evening conversation will provide an overview, as well as understanding of, the differences between accommodations and services provided by various institutions and organizations.
A student panel discussion will cover topics that can be applied towards attending 2- or 4-year colleges upon graduation, as well as what can be expected after high school from a recent graduate's perspective.
