  • High School Teaching Assistant

    Job Title: Teaching Assistant - High School

    Requirements: Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree or be working towards a degree in teaching. Salary: This is a part-time hourly position (20 - 29 hours per week); $10.75 per hour

    Description: The role of the Denver Academy teaching assistant is to support and assist individual teachers and the division with: • Classroom support • Working with students in small groups or one-on-one • Helping students with executive functioning skills • Covering classes, when needed • Grading • Lesson plans • Coordinating special events/field trips • Performing clerical tasks

  • Lower School Teaching Assistant

    Requirements: Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree or be working towards a degree in teaching.

    Salary: This is a part time hourly position (20 ­ 29 hours per week). $10.75 per hour.

    Description: The role of the Denver Academy teaching assistant is to support and assist the classroom teacher with the organization, structure and discipline of the classroom within the spirit of Denver Academy’s mission.
