From the Headmaster

It is a daily pleasure to lead Denver Academy and observe firsthand the transformative power of education in the lives of our students and their families. Students achieve their potential at DA with the guidance of an outstanding group of faculty and staff who help all our kids develop as learners as well as caring, empowered young people.

I am pleased to welcome you to Denver Academy. We are a co-educational day school serving children with learning differences in grades 1 through 12. We provide an innovative and academically challenging program, rich with experiential learning and differentiated instruction. As an educational leader, our school serves the Greater Denver community and has been called upon to teach and implement our model nationally and internationally.

Each year, more than 90 percent of our graduates matriculate to college and other post-secondary educational settings. To facilitate achievement, highly qualified and innovative teachers utilize meaningful assessments to develop a unique learning profile and plan for each individual. By doing so, they help each child realize their potential in the classroom. Our curriculum is augmented by excellent facilities on our 22-acre campus that include technology centers, science laboratories, visual and performing arts buildings and a gymnasium.
